For a client\u2019s or business partner\u2019s company anniversary you give something that congratulates without obliging: a present worth roughly 20 to 50 euros per recipient that makes the relationship visible \u2013 handed over in person if you are invited, otherwise sent by post for the anniversary day. What has proven itself, what to leave out, and how chocolate with the celebrating company\u2019s logo turns it into a gift with a point.<\/p>\n

\"Embossed<\/figure>\n

Guest, client or supplier: three roles, three gifts<\/h2>\n

As an invited guest you bring something small and personal that the team can share \u2013 a box of embossed chocolate bars for the staff says more than a bouquet for the reception desk. As a long-standing client congratulating a supplier, a handwritten card and a present by post on the anniversary day are enough. As a supplier congratulating a client, the golden rule applies: the gift carries the celebrating company\u2019s logo, not your own \u2013 a Schokologo with the client\u2019s logo and the anniversary number is made for exactly that (corporate gifts<\/a>, gifts for business partners<\/a>).<\/p>\n

What to bring \u2013 and what not<\/h2>\n

Proven: shareable across the whole staff, a shelf life of at least six months, no cold chain, in a packaging that looks good on the reception counter. Better left out: alcohol when you do not know the recipients; promotional gifts with your own logo \u2013 the anniversary is theirs, not your marketing; anything that embarrasses the recipient because it is too expensive.<\/p>\n

In Germany two tax thresholds apply: low-value promotional items up to 10 euros net need no record per recipient; gifts to business contacts are deductible up to 50 euros net per recipient and year (\u00a7 4 (5) no. 1 of the German Income Tax Act, EStG \u2013 in German<\/a>), above that not at all. A flat 30 % tax under \u00a7 37b EStG lets the giver spare the recipient the taxation.<\/p>\n

For the 10th, 20th or 25th anniversary: put the number on the gift<\/h2>\n

The anniversary number belongs on the gift \u2013 embossed into the chocolate, not only on the card. Small quantities are no problem: a guest needs one box, not a batch \u2013 guide values from approx. 50 pieces, smaller quantities on request.<\/p>\n
