Classic, with thanks, personal, multilingual – ready to copy, and the Choco-Card they fit into

A business Christmas greeting has three parts: thanks for the year, a wish for the holidays, a wish for the New Year – in two to four sentences, formal, with no sales message. Below are 30 templates sorted by tone, plus versions in German, French, Italian and Spanish.

Christmas greetings for clients and business partners

The texts follow the greeting card Schokologo has been sending with logo chocolate for years

How to word a business Christmas greeting

Use a template as it is, or swap one sentence for a reference to your year together. Three rules every template follows:

  • Three parts: thanks for the cooperation, a wish for the holidays, a wish for the New Year – in that order, two to four sentences.
  • Formal, no offer: a Christmas greeting sells nothing. No product, no discount, no “we look forward to your next order”.
  • No year: leave the year out and the card is right for next year’s run too.

For recipients who do not celebrate Christmas, use templates 4, 6 or 7 – “Season’s Greetings” and the New Year wish are the common ground.

The card for these texts: the Choco-Card – Christmas card with chocolate. How much text fits is under On the card.

Classic Christmas greetings

For clients you do not know personally and for large lists: neutral, warm, no reference to the business year.

  1. With best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a successful New Year.
  2. We wish you a wonderful Christmas and a good start to the New Year, full of happiness, success and good health.
  3. Wishing you a peaceful Christmas season, joyful holidays and health and success in the year ahead.
  4. A happy holiday season and every success in the New Year.

Christmas greetings with thanks for the cooperation

For clients and partners you have worked with this year: the thanks come first, the wish follows.

  1. With these Christmas greetings we would like to thank you for the pleasant cooperation and wish you a prosperous, successful New Year.
  2. A Merry Christmas and a healthy, happy and successful New Year – together with our sincere thanks for the good cooperation.

  12. With a big thank-you for our joint projects we head into the New Year and look forward to new challenges. We wish you a Merry Christmas and, in the New Year, professional success, personal happiness and many untroubled moments.

Personal and thoughtful Christmas greetings

For long-standing clients and partners you know: a thought about the year, then the wish – for the recipient’s family too.

  1. For Christmas we wish you shining moments, fond memories of the past and joy in what is to come.
  2. Our team says thank you for the road we were able to travel together this year. To you and everyone close to you we wish a joyful Christmas, time for what matters and a healthy, successful New Year.
  3. A turbulent year is almost over. The Christmas days lie ahead – days of rest and joy with family and friends. We hope you enjoy a happy time and manage to keep your thoughts away from business for a while. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
  4. People need celebrations – as fixed points in the fast passage of time. Christmas is near and the year ends soon after: a moment to celebrate, to reflect and to think of one another. We wish you joy and rest in these days and health, happiness and success in the New Year.
  5. As the year ends, we wish you and your family joyful, peaceful hours and a good start into the coming year.
  6. We wish you a Merry Christmas, time to relax, a focus on what really matters and many bright moments in the coming year.
  7. We wish you a Merry Christmas and, for the New Year, professional success, personal happiness and many untroubled moments.

Christmas greetings to the client and their team

When the card goes to a company rather than a person: extend the greeting to all staff.

  1. We wish you and your staff joyful holidays and happiness, health and success in the New Year.
  2. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you, your family and the whole staff.
  3. As the old year ends we greet the friends of our company and send you our warmest wishes for a happy New Year – and every good wish for your personal and professional future.

How the text fits into the Choco-Card

The Choco-Card is a folded card, 11.5 × 17 cm closed, 23 × 17 cm open. On the right inside sits the box with the embossed chocologo, on the left inside goes your greeting – printed from your artwork with the Choco-Card Individual.

  • Length: templates 1–19 and 25–30 fit the left inside panel with salutation and signature; the long texts 20–24 need the full panel – keep the salutation short then. Guideline: up to about 250 characters for the greeting plus salutation and signature.
  • Salutation: “Dear Mr …, dear Ms …” stays the standard in business; first names only with clients you address that way.
  • Signature: company name plus the name of the contact person. A printed signature reads more personal than the company name alone; a handwritten line works as well.
  • Language: one language per card, or the five-language short greeting when one run goes to mixed recipients.
  • Year: leave it out – the card is then right for next year’s run too.

The chocolate in the card carries the standard Christmas design “Frohe Weihnachten” – or your logo from 300 pieces. All variants, designs and facts: Choco-Card – Christmas card with chocolate.

The chocolate that carries the greeting

The greeting is written – here is the card that carries it: the Choco-Card in three variants, the DIN-long greeting card for mailings, and for Christmas post with a parcel the chocolate Santa and the custom Santa with logo.

Clients, business partners and employees each have their own selection: Christmas gifts for clients, for business partners, for employees – and the custom advent calendar with chocolate when the greeting should arrive in Advent already.

Yes. With the Choco-Card Individual we print your artwork including the greeting; with the design cards the greeting goes on an insert or you write it by hand. With individual shipment we address the envelopes from your recipient list.

Yes, when the cards are printed individually: a “greeting” column in the recipient list is enough. On the chocolate itself the embossing is the same across the run; a name per recipient on the chocolate is available with the personalised chocologo.
