Which chocolate, which pralines
Almost everything in the range suits individual shipment: embossed bars and small bars, medallions, the choco card in card format and praline boxes with your Schokologo as the lid. The chocolate is Belgian Callebaut couverture in milk, dark 60 % or white; the pralines are made fresh without preservatives. Shelf life: dark 12–18 months, milk and white 6–12 months, pralines approx. 8–9 weeks – the shipping date follows from that. Overview: pralines & gift sets and chocolate with logo.
Your logo on the chocolate
You send us your logo or design as a vector file (EPS or PDF, fonts converted to outlines); structures down to 0.2 mm can be embossed. We create a 3D mockup for approval – free of charge, changes are easy at this stage. After approval we build the mould and produce; embossing is in high relief. The mould stays with us: reorders carry no mould costs.
Packaging and greeting card
Gold or silver boxes are embossed in addition to the chocolate, with the same or a separate design; alternatively we print the whole box in four colours in your corporate colours, or your chocolate gets a printed sleeve. Print specifications: vector PDF, fonts outlined, two-colour black and white for embossing, 3 mm bleed beyond the die line for four-colour print, one version with and one without die lines; we provide the dieline for your product. The greeting card makes the parcel personal – no larger than the chocolate so that it fits the box. Two ways: you have the cards printed and send them to us (hand-signed if you like), or Schokologo prints them from your print file.
What individual shipment costs
Your quote lists every item separately: the embossed chocolate, the packaging, the shipping carton, handling and logistics, postage by destination and weight, and card printing if required. A partial quantity to your company address is possible and invoiced separately. Send us product, quantity and destinations – you receive the calculation.
Order, approval, lead time
With the quote you receive our order form; mark individual shipment there. With the order you send the designs for chocolate, packaging and card if not done yet – we implement them and send you the artwork for approval, then the order confirmation with all final designs. Production usually takes three weeks after approval of the mockup; rush orders against a surcharge are possible. If you need a specific delivery date, we plan the shipment for it.
The address list
For the recipients we send you a CSV template to fill in, for example in Excel: your sender data in row 2, recipients from row 3; house numbers in the NUMBER column, countries as ISO ALPHA-3 codes (DEU, AUT, FRA …), ADDRESS_TYPE usually HOUSE (POBOX for PO boxes, PACKSTATION). For shipments abroad please send two files: one for Germany, one for other countries. Save as CSV, not as an Excel file, and check the file once in a text editor – a look at house numbers and postcodes saves returns.
Shipping options: domestic, abroad, target date
We ship with DHL and UPS, within Germany and internationally, as standard or express. You name the target date, we plan the shipment for it – we cannot guarantee the delivery day. If destination countries or shipping options change after the order, we invoice the additional costs. In hot weather we ship in insulated packaging and time the dispatch to the forecast.
