When it comes to small hunger pangs between main meals, German employees most often reach for fruit (36.2 percent) and chocolate (29.2 percent), closely followed by cookies (27.6 percent). The conclusion is obvious: offering chocolate cookies as a treat for staff or clients is a simple way to bring extra joy.

Of course, many people like to mix both – an apple between breakfast and lunch to keep up their vitamins, and a piece of chocolate in the afternoon as fuel for the nerves. The two don’t contradict each other at all. And here’s a fun fact: on average, German office workers are considered the healthiest eaters in Europe.
